A celebration of unity and belonging at AWIS

Wear your House Colours with Pride day at AWIS is a celebration of unity and belonging as a culmination of Friendship Week and a chance for students to meet their teammates from other classes.

On Thursday 24 September, AWIS was filled with colour as children and staff wore their House colours with pride. From FS1 to Year 6, pupils represented Oryx, Camel, Dugong and Falcon in green, yellow, blue and red.

The day gave children a chance to show which House they belong to and see their teammates across the school. It was lovely to see pupils of different ages sharing in the same celebration.

As part of Friendship Week, wearing our House colours was a simple way to celebrate unity and belonging at AWIS. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day so colourful!
